    Media Promotion of Taman Satwa Taru Jurug Surakarta

    ABSTRACT Linda Kusuma Astuti, 2016. Making Promotion Media in English about Taman Satwa Taru Jurug, English Diploma Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Sebelas Maret University. The objectives of this internship report are to describe the internship activities that I did during the internship at Taman Satwa Taru Jurug Surakarta from 15 February 2016 to 15 March 2016; to identify the problems during the internship, and to find out how to solve the problems. My main activity was making promotion media, booklet and leaflet in English. In making promotion media, the main difficulty were translating difficult words (sentences) from Indonesian into English; and operating Corel Draw X6 software. To solve the first problem, I used online dictionary and did soe consultation with the lecturer. To solve the second problem, I asked a friend who can operate the software. There were also some other difficulties, but my team and I could handle it well. I also helped the officer to welcome tourists who came in Taman Satwa Taru Jurug Surakarta and gave directions or instructions in buying the tickets at the counter, or answered their questions about Taman Satwa Taru Jurug Surakarta

    Literasi Media Sosial Memoderasi Pengaruh Daya Tarik Repositioning DP Mall Semarang Terhadap Frekuensi Kunjungan

    The DP Mall Semarang shopping center before 2018 looked empty from visitors, because the mall was considered unattractive. Tenant choices, building designs, and facilities are considered less attractive for consumers to visit. However, in mid-2018 DP Mall Semarang carried out a repositioning by renovating the building and adding international tenants and brands. DP Mall also uses social media Instagram to reach consumers because it is easier and cheaper. This study aims to determine whether the repositioning attractiveness of DP Mall Semarang can affect the frequency of consumer visits. Then social media literacy is used which is expected to strengthen the influence of the attractiveness of repositioning on the frequency of visits, because researchers see that social media literacy is currently very much needed in social media. This type of research is quantitative by distributing questionnaires to 152 visitors to DP Mall Semarang. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using the SPSS application. The results showed that repositioning attractiveness had a positive effect on the frequency of visits. However, high consumer social media literacy can weaken the effect of repositioning attractiveness on the frequency of consumer visits

    Green business behaviour, green technologies, and sustainability in SMEs

    Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the management and environmentally- friendly behavior of small-scale aquaculture businesses with emphasis on the institutional environment, entrepreneurial orientation, and green technology. Design/methodology/approach: The sample consists of 198 respondents in the aquaculturebased SMEs, analyzed with structural equation model (SEM) by using AMOS software. Findings: The findings show the role of management and business behavior in green business of aquaculture SMEs. This behavior affects the cost and resource efficiency. Practical implications: The results contribute for SMEs how to manage environmentally friendly businesses through process that encourages environmental governance. Originality/value: This finding is based on resource based view theory, by identifying and managing the potential resources through green business initiative in SMEs.peer-reviewe

    Multimodalitas Wacana Kritis Keagamaan Dalam Komik Aji Prasetyo

    Comics as a popular visual communication medium are potential to carry sensitive discourses flexibly and freely. The nature of comics that involves the reader in filling out messages, as well as forms of multimodal communication through images and texts also support that potention. Serious, sensitive, and critical topics, such as religion, are often found in comics. One of the actual comics with a critical religious theme is the comic by Aji Prasetyo. This journal will analyze critical religiousity discourse in Aji Prasetyo's comics through a multimodal approach. The analysis was using the analysis method by Kress and Van Leeuwen, with the help of McCloud's comic theory. The results show that the interweaving of signs in visual mode and verbal mode in comics is related to each other to form discourse. Signs in the visual mode in the form of icons play an important role as a representation of characters and ideas. While in verbal mode, the caption dominates the comic as a representation of the author's critical opinion. The interweaving of signs in this fashion hybridity constructs a critical discourse about the contradictions of religious expression between formalism and substantialism.Komik sebagai media komunikasi visual yang populer sanggup membawa wacana-wacana sensitif secara lentur dan leluasa. Sifat komik yang melibatkan pembaca dalam mengisi kekosongan pesan, serta bentuk komunikasi multimodal melalui gambar dan teks juga turut menunjang hal tersebut. Topik yang serius, sensitif, dan juga kritis, seperti keagamaan kemudian sering ditemui dalam beberapa komik. Salah satu komik yang aktual dengan tema kritis keagamaan adalah komik karya Aji Prasetyo. Jurnal ini akan menganalisis wacana kritis keagamaan dalam komik Aji Prasetyo melalui pendekatan multimodal. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan pisau analisis Kress dan Van Leeuwen, dengan dibantu teori komik McCloud. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa jalinan tanda dalam mode visual dan mode verbal dalam komik saling berkaitan membentuk wacana. Tanda dalam mode visual berupa ikon berperan penting sebagai representasi kelompok dan gagasan. Sedangkan dalam mode verbal, caption mendominasi komik sebagai representasi opini kritis pengarang. Jalinan tanda dalam hibriditas mode tersebut mengkonstruksi wacana kritis keagamaan tentang kontradiksi ekspresi keagamaan antara formalisme dan substansialisme

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif komparatif. Penentuan subjek didasarkan pada populasi penelitian, yakni sebesar 654 mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP), Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum (FISH), dan Fakultas Ekonomi (FE) Universitas Negeri Surabaya tahun pertama (angkatan 2019) dan tahun kedua (angkatan 2018). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala PSSM (Psychological Sense of School Membership) milik Goodenow (1993) yang telah terlebih dahulu diadaptasi ke Bahasa Indonesia oleh Fadilah, Maslihah, dan Misbach (2018), serta kemudian diadaptasi oleh peneliti untuk setting universitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Independent Sample t-Test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan sense of belongingness jika ditinjau dari tahun angkatan pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Perbedaan tersebut terjadi karena adanya karakteristik yang berbeda pada kedua tahun angkatan. Hasil analisis data juga menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan yang ada pada kedua tahun angkatan tersebut mengarah ke penurunan, yakni tingkat sense of belongingness mahasiswa tahun kedua lebih rendah daripada mahasiswa tahun pertama.     LINDA KUSUMA WARDANI, J310 140 078 THE RELATION BETWEEN NUTRITIONAL STATS AND Hb LEVEL WITH SHORT TERM MEMORY OF STUDENTS SDN TOTOSARI I AND SDN TUNGGULSARI I SURAKARTA Background.Stunting is still one of problem on elementary school. According to the preface survey to the student at SDN I Totosari there was 4 students (12,5%) stunting of 32 students and at SDN Tunggulsari I there was still 6 students (20,0%) stunting of 30 students. Aim.This research aims to determine the relationship between nutritional stats and Hb level with short term memory of students SDN Totosari I and SDN Tunggulsari I. Method.The research used cross sectional design, there 74 students 9-12 years old were by stratified random sampling way. Nutrition Height/age stats data is obtained from anthropometry measurement of body height, technique of Hb level data obtained from students blood sample with cyanmethemoglobin method, while short term memory data obtained by recall method used words. Data analysis use univariat analysis to describe frequency variable of nutrition TB/U stats, Hb level, and short term memory, while bivariat analysis use to know relations between nutritional stats and Hb level with short term memory use normality test data with Kolmogorov Smirnov and test relations use Pearson Product Moment. Result.The result of this study showed (70,3%) nutritional stats of students are not stunting and (29,7%) stunting. Hb level of elementary school students not anemia (60,8%) and anemia (39,2%). Value of short term memory is (50%) and short term memory value for the moment less equal to (50%). The result of research that was processed by SPSS V.20 showed no significant relations between nutritional stats and short term memory (p= 0,512). There is no relations between Hb level and short term memory (p=0,245). Conclusion.This research can be concluded that there is no relations between nutritional stats with short term memory. That there is no relations between Hb level with short term memory

    Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) dengan Kecanduan Media Sosial pada Mahasiswa

    This study is a quantitative study that aims to determine the relationship between Fear of Missing Out and social media addiction in college students. The participants in this study were 67 active students of the Satya Wacana Christian University Faculty of Psychology, class of 2018-2020 who used social media for a minimum of 5 hours. The research instrument uses 2 measuring instruments, namely the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale (BMAS) Indonesian version modified by Maheswari and Dwiutami (2013) and the Indonesian Fear of missing Out Scale (FoMOS) modified by Kaloeti, Kurnia, and Tahamata (2021). Based on the results of data analysis using the Pearson product moment correlation test, there is a significant positive relationship between Fear of Missing Out and social media addiction with a correlation coefficient of 0.564 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0. 05) which means that the higher the level of Fear of Missing Out, the higher the level of addiction to social media, and conversely the lower the level of Fear of Missing Out, the lower the level of addiction to social media. The results of this study can be used as a basis for making activities to reduce the level of addiction to social media
